The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is hiring a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead the technical team and support multiple programs.
Position Responsibilities:
Applies advanced industrial engineering concepts approaches and techniques to product process and services to meet program requirements. Reviews the development of complex plant and equipment layouts capacity plans accident prevention measures sequencing of operations and work flows. Identifies new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations. Designs maintains and optimizes the production system by integrating design supply base facilities equipment and personnel. Reviews work flow design and analysis. Leads the development of models databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leader and customers. Leads research design development improvement and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance lower cost and improve quality for large scale systems integration and asset utilization. Reviews plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods. Evaluates product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices. Leads operations planning includes work statement analysis budgeting and forecasts capacity and constraint analysis and production change to ensure technical goals and objectives are met. Leads execution planning by using project management planning and scheduling and shop load practices. Monitors production supply chain logistics performance visibility and recovery planning support. Ensures compliance with established industry safety design standards and ergonomic guidelines.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City OK.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
- 9 years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using Aurora or similar shop floor work scheduling tool.
- Advanced Microsoft Office experience including advanced Excel skills.
