Position Overview
The Sr. Member of Technical Staff is responsible for electrical design of next generation high reliability undersea products. The role completes circuit design which include analog and digital circuits including microcontrollers and FPGAs as well as electro-optic components like photo diodes and lasers. This role will work a team of electrical mechanical optical and reliability engineers to design high reliability fault tolerant circuit to operate in the undersea environment. This role will also be responsible for the development and implementation of verification and qualifications plans for these designs. Additionally this position will be responsible for writing test plans for factory test and to support the introduction of designs into manufacture. The position will report to the Director- Lightwave technology.
