This program is designed to be a springboard for your career providing you with fundamental knowledge and practical experience across critical areas of aircraft performance. You will be an integral part of our transnational team contributing to cutting-edge aircraft development and innovation.
Your Mission: Shaping the Future of Flight
While the exact projects will be tailored to your development and the evolving needs of our teams this VIE mission is strategically designed to provide a balanced exposure across two core transnational sub-domains of Aircraft Performance:
Low Speed Performance and Certification: Dive into the complexities of aircraft behavior during critical phases like take-off and landing. Youll contribute to elaborating performance models assessing compliance with airworthiness regulations and ensuring the safety of our aircraft.
High Speed Performance and On-board Applications: Explore the intricacies of cruise performance fuel efficiency and the development of advanced on-board functions that empower pilots and optimize operations.
Across both sub-domains you will contribute to activities such as:
Elaborating and refining Low and High Speed aircraft performance models including those for on-board applications and third-party integration.
Assessing and optimizing overall aircraft performance throughout its entire lifecycle.
Demonstrating safety through rigorous certification processes and justification of compliance with airworthiness regulations.
Developing and providing tools that enable operators to achieve economically and environmentally optimized safe aircraft operations.
This role places you at the crossroads of diverse disciplinesaerodynamics propulsion certification ground modeling operations and more. You will gain a holistic view of the aircraft and will understand that safety remains our utmost priority. Your Boarding Pass to Join Us
Education: Engineering Degree in Aeronautics (obtained or currently pursuing).
Experience/Interest: Previous experience in Aircraft Performance or closely related competencies or at least a recognized strong interest in the domain (aircraft and engine performance flight physics and mechanics aerodynamics).
Mindset: Strong team spirit dynamism transnational spirit and a collaborative mindset.
Qualities: Adaptability and proactiveness.
Languages: English (Negotiation level is essential); Spanish is a significant plus.
IT Skills: Knowledge of IT particularly Python is highly valued.
