Job Summary

CARE ASSISTANT
ST VINCENTS SERVICES LIMERICK
PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (39 Hours Per Week)
PERMANENT PART -TIME CONTRACT (35 Hours Per Week)
PERMANENT PART -TIME CONTRACT (30 Hours Per Week) &
RELIEF CONTRACTS
Salary: * (lsi)
*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.
REQ: 85512
Essential:
- Minimum of Fully Completed FETAC/QQI level 5 in Healthcare qualification or (higher) equivalent comparable qualification.
- Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
Experience of working with Adults with Autism and/or Intellectual disabilities with complex and stress behaviours.
Desirable:
- Desire to support individuals to live their best lives and commitment to promoting the active engagement and participation of individuals in their local communities.
- Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
- Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
