As an Automation Maintenance Technician youll make an impact by
- Performing major and minor repairs on equipment or systems by utilizing a wide range of craft skills (for example electronics networking electrical mechatronics and robotics); inspecting operating or testing equipment or systems to diagnose problems; dismantling equipment machines or systems to gain access to and remove defective parts; diagnosing problems using blueprints repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary; utilizing hand tools power tools hoists and other equipment; providing prompt response to emergency calls; and documenting repair activities.
- Following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines to perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safety and proper functionality of equipment or systems.
- Inspecting cleaning and repairing equipment or systems.
- Observing and documenting signs of wear and tear.
- Recommending repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs.
- Determining replacement needs and documenting preventive maintenance activities.
- Managing work orders and maintenance schedules by completing and submitting required written and electronic information (for example expense vouchers weekly summaries work orders and maintenance logs)
- Ordering and tracking parts and replacement equipment and recording purchases and usage.
- Submitting warranty claims and adhering to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and guidelines
- Ensuring quality work is completed that complies with federal state and local regulations.
- Ensuring contractors follow Walmart quality standards safety requirements and meet contract requirements.
Youll sweep us off our feet if
- You have mechatronics and automation experience.
- You have experience with circuit boards.
- You have strong customer service and communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in any of the following trades: automation robotics mechatronics microelectronics or related trade
- Need to have a valid Drivers License.
- 1-3 years of experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing spreadsheet email and presentation software (for example Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
- General Industrial Maintenance knowledge
Schedule: This will be a night shift working from 7:00PM 5:30AM
Available Shift: Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday
