Position Overview

What Youll Do:

• Design develop and maintain scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks aligned with application architecture.

• Evaluate and implement new automation tools frameworks and methodologies to improve quality and efficiency.

• Collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers to promote shift-left testing and seamless automation in CI/CD pipelines.

• Refactor and optimize regression test pipelines to improve execution speed reliability and infrastructure cost.

• Review requirements technical specifications and architecture documents to ensure comprehensive automated test coverage.

• Leverage Azure DevOps (ADO) Grafana and open-source tools to build dashboards and enable real-time QA status reporting.

• Build maintain and manage synthetic test data generation pipelines and tools to support automated test scenarios.

• Conduct performance testing and analysis using appropriate tools (e.g. JMeter) providing actionable insights (is a Plus and not mandatory).

• Ensure test automation solutions adhere to security compliance and coding standards.

• Continuously assess the health of automated test suites and proactively address flakiness gaps or redundancy.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and quality goals as a SDET champion within the team.

What Youll Bring to Zelis:

• Must have programming skills /C# and experience with test automation tools such as Selenium Playwright RestSharp SpecFlow (or equivalent BDD tools) and JMeter (Optional).

• Experience and understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps for test management and integration.

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker Virtual Machines and test orchestration tools such as Selenium Grid.

• Experience with AI/ML-assisted tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to improve coding and automation efficiency.

• Experience modeling data schemas and using synthetic test data generation tools to create realistic test datasets.

• Strong background in performance testing analysis and reporting (Optional).

• Working experience with Jira Confluence and agile development environments.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative and drive improvements independently.

• Minimum of 5 years of SDET experience ideally in the healthcare industry

• Ability to provide technical guidance to peers and influence automation best practices across the team.

• Bachelors/Masters degree preferred.

Base Salary Range

At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages.
