Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Avionic Field Service Representative to provide field-level avionic support for the MQ-25 Stingray unmanned aerial refueling system in Patuxent River Maryland.

The Field Service MQ-25 Avionic Field Service Representative will perform on-site installation troubleshooting maintenance system integration flight test support and customer training to ensure mission readiness and system reliability in maritime and expeditionary environments.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Install configure and commission avionics and mission systems on MQ-25 aircraft and ground support equipment (GSE).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot avionics communication navigation flight controls sensors and mission computers in the field.
  • Execute system-level functional tests pre-flight checks post-flight debriefs and data capture for anomaly investigation.
  • Support flight test activities including mission preparation instrumentation setup real-time monitoring and post-flight analysis with engineering teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to customer maintenance teams and operators.
  • Create and maintain field service reports discrepancy reports work orders and configuration records.
  • Coordinate parts provisioning logistics and vendor support to minimize aircraft downtime.
  • Serve as the customer interface on-site representing company quality safety and compliance standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities lessons-learned capture and product feedback loops.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with maintenance and tactical fixed wing aircraft.
  • Minimum5 years reading and interpreting engineering drawings technical orders process specifications and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repair.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in military flight operations or military avionics technician experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience fabricating installing routing terminating soldering and repairing electrical wiring harnesses; or any variety of electrical components and associated equipment.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience on military fixed wing aircraft and avionics systems.
