Job Description
We are currently seeking skilled Swiss CNC Machinists to join our growing team in Glenview IL
Youll be operating Swiss-type CNC machines (Citizen Star Tsugami or similar) to produce precision components for industries such as medical aerospace and high-tech manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines (multi-axis)
- Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and work instructions
- Inspect parts using micrometers calipers and other precision tools
- Adjust offsets and tooling as needed to maintain part quality
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety procedures
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience operating Swiss CNC lathes (Citizen Star Tsugami preferred)
- Strong understanding of G-code blueprints and part inspection
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining issues
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (either day or night)
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Pay Range: $20-$30/hr - Based on experience
