Job Summary
The Superintendent plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of roofing projects ensuring field activities are executed safely efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. Working closely with Project Managers this individual will provide leadership and direction to crews and subcontractors coordinate scheduling and ensure smooth project delivery. The role requires strong leadership problem-solving and organizational skills with an emphasis on safety and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise roofing crews and subcontractors ensuring work is completed efficiently safely and on schedule.
Conduct daily site inspections to maintain quality control and enforce safety protocols.
Plan schedule and coordinate labor materials equipment and subcontractors for each project.
Act as the on-site representative maintaining clear communication with clients inspectors and internal teams.
Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly minimizing delays and disruptions.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies conducting toolbox talks and enforcing best practices.
Track project progress maintain accurate field documentation and prepare daily or weekly reports.
Support the Project Manager in monitoring budgets change orders and schedule impacts.
Mentor and train crew members fostering a culture of accountability teamwork and craftsmanship.
Represent the company professionally on job sites promoting a positive reputation with clients and partners.
