Job Summary
CNC Machinist
Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. Responsibilities include:
- Set up adjust and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Interpret technical drawings blueprints and work instructions to ensure accurate production.
- Perform inspections using calipers micrometers gauges and other measuring tools to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain equipment through regular cleaning lubrication and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot machine or tooling issues and make adjustments as necessary.
- Document production activities including measurements quality checks and completed work orders.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous CNC Machining experience required operating both milling and turning machines
- Experience with Okuma equipment preferred
- Familiarity with CNC programming preferred
