About the role

The Facility Sanitation Worker is responsible for general cleaning performed in the St. Louis GMP processing areas.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning in the plant as assigned.
• Maintain and store cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Occasional maintenance and operation of facility equipment.
• Operate all types of cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers pneumatic tools pressure washer and buffer.
• Follow SOPs change control / validation processes and adhere to established cleaning programs for GMP compliance
• Perform other duties to support the ongoing efficiency and effectiveness of the Plant operations.
• Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies procedures and state federal and local laws.
• Identify and report any potential safety concerns or hazards.
• Respond to internal customer needs and/or requests professionally effectively and efficiently.
• Comply with all Safety EHS Standards State and FDA regulations and OSHA regulations.
• Comply with all local and corporate policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess basic math skills
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and succeed in a team environment
• Ability to lift 5-25 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift more than 25 lbs.
• Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills
• Team oriented and flexible able to adapt to changing assignments
• Able to function productively with minimal supervision
• Detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a production industrial and/or GMPenvironment is highly desired.
