Leidos currently has an opening for a Deputy Portfolio Manager to work in our Beavercreek OH office. This is an exciting opportunity to support US Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center (LCMC) and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) programs at the Portfolio Level. This position will assist with local leadership of the Leidos Portfolio and support the day-to-day leadership to a team of engineers and developers supporting a large technology portfolio ($250M) and monitoring technical schedule and budget constraints.
THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
Leidos Dayton office has an opening for a full-time Deputy Portfolio Manager supporting a range of DoD contracts.
The Deputy Portfolio Manager will run a cross-functional team consisting of Logistics Configuration Management Test etc.
Works with the Engineering leads and PMO reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports for review to Program Management teams.
Assesses project financial status and develops resolutions to meet on objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress
Supports Pipeline management functions working with BD and Capture Teams
Coordinates with Sr Leidos leadership and Gov Stakeholders on status of Portfolio
Supports the Portfolio Manager running the the day to day operations of the local office
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
BA/BS degree with 5 years experience or Masters and 3 years managing and growing projects
Candidate shall have knowledge experience and demonstrated ability to perform independently
Strong Capture Management and Strategic Growth skill set. Ability to organize and control pipeline activities driving initiatives through the capture process and into execution
Experience or familiarity with planning of projects including but not limited to labor scope and statement of work.
Labor forecasting/management experience; familiarity with use of an RLN ROM and other project management tools.
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work and lead as part of a multi-disciplined team.
Skills in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and other Office applications.
US Citizenship required for this role.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI level clearance
