Job Description

POSITION:Test Engineer Production- Entry Level
FULL-TIME/PART-TIME:Full Time
LOCATION: Bothell WA

With a focuson respiratory and sleep health sectors we offer a comprehensive range of products and services across acute care non-acute care and home medical equipment. By integrating manufacturing and distribution React Health addresses the needs of both undiagnosed individuals and those requiring therapy after diagnosis particularly within the sleep and respiratory care sectors.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Test Engineer will work directly with the Manufacturing Team to support the rapidly growing manufacturing of medical Ventilators. We are a leading product which seamlessly integrates five separate devices including a ventilator oxygen concentrator cough assist suction and nebulizer into one unified respiratory system. You will work closely with product engineering to guarantee device specifications performance and manufacturing quality. This will include identifying requirements for device test modes or new methodologies when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • LabVIEW development and troubleshooting experience
  • General mechanical aptitude
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure

Preferred Education
  • Masters degree of science in electrical engineering or related field.

Preferred Experience
  • Manufacturing test stand development experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills required. Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Physical Demands
  • Requires normal visual acuity and hearing.
  • Typically employees sit comfortably to do their work interspersed by brief periods of standing walking bending carrying papers and books and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives.
  • Required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and manipulate keys on a keyboard.
  • Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location department or line of business.

Working Conditions
  • Predominantly operates in an office environment. Some work (less than 5%) requires moving and lifting of heavy test equipment.
  • Will work in an Engineering Lab based and light industrial environment.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Each Employee consistently demonstrates the following essential functions:
  • Develop holistic system test plans and test strategies across mechanical software and electrical designs at the system level
  • Develop electrical or mechanical testing with a focus on electro-mechanical assembly testing
  • Develop component qualification test plans and procedures
  • Develop functional requirements and test criteria in conjunction with discipline leads based on product requirements
  • Identify and document the appropriate and expected level of quality at each stage of product development to set and manage expectations
  • Work with internal team members to perform analyze and package test results
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address risk areas open issues and defects
  • Track progress of test stand development
  • Investigate and develop new test methods to reduce test time and cost.
  • Support development and maintenance of supplier or partner test stands
  • Attends and participates in departmental meetings. Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence.
  • Ensures all department compliance guidelines are met.
  • Attends all meetings in-services training or continuing education as delegated by the supervisor.
  • Provides customer focused interactions.
  • Performs all duties necessary for the department as per department policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor within the scope of practice and the responsibilities in the department.
