Idaho Power located in vibrant Boise Idaho is looking for a Land Rights Leader to join our Corporate Real Estate team. Its an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. Our work plays a critical role in communities we serve across Idaho and Oregon and were working hard to provide our customers with the safe reliable affordable energy they depend on. While this position is based at Idaho Powers downtown Boise location we offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote.
What does a Land Rights Leader do for us
The Land Rights Leader oversees and guides a team that represents the interests of the company in land rights matters and directs the planning acquisition lease disposal and administrative management of company real estate or right of way assets in alignment with broader strategic initiatives. This position will set strategic goals forecast needs help set budgets manage contractors and provide leadership of employees ensuring the land rights team works efficiently and effectively to support all related company needs. They act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders closely coordinating with them to ensure timely and quality execution of work while seeking the best and most-timely outcome for Idaho Power. They share expertise on land rights matters including rights of way negotiations easements leases and other real estate agreements with the entire Corporate Real Estate team.

This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment fine motor skills including typing on the computer dialing phones filing paper and working in close proximity to other people. There may be occasional lifts of no more than 10 lbs. The above is a summary of the primary essential functions of the position.
