Role overview
To function as the logistics Coordinator for Calo to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company. You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods.
The ideal candidate has great communication and negotiation skills. They are also wellversed in supply management principles and practices. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
- To maintain the daytoday operations of the delivery team and fleet trucks as well as warehouse functions which included opening and closing of the warehouse and loading docks.
- Monitor tracking progress and set up a formal line of communication with management
- Make hiring recommendations and provide ongoing training for drivers.
- Conduct inspection of all loading docks to ensure the cage areas are clean and organized
- Route daily deliveries to guarantee the driver reaches all destinations at the scheduled time
- Record daily work assignments and maintain daily attendance files for all drivers and helpers
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- Must have had a minimum of 1 year of previous proven experience as a logistics coordinator or similar position
- Must have fleet management experience and is able to manage many vehicles
- Familiar with optimizing drivers routes using technology
- The candidate must have great recordkeeping abilities and a customeroriented approach.
- Must have logistics experience in Riyadh
- Must be currently present in KSA or willing to relocate to KSA
- Must be a proficient communicator in English
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience in customer service will be appreciated
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- The ability to communicate in multiple languages is a major plus
- Experience with large wellknown or international companies is a major advantage
