Job Description
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Packaging Engineering
0 3 years of experience in packaging design or engineering
Familiarity with CAD software e.g. SolidWorks Creo Artios CAD
Basic understanding of packaging materials (plastics paperboard corrugate etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities

Key job functions / Highlights of Job Description:
Create detailed CAD drawings based on engineering specifications sketches and input from engineers.
Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes or improvements.
Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
Maintain drawing standards and documentation in accordance with company and industry guidelines.
Perform tolerance analysis and basic calculations to support design decisions.
Prepare layouts assembly drawings and part details for manufacturing.
Manage and organize CAD files.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in the design and development of packaging for existing products.
Conduct packaging performance testing (e.g. drop vibration compression).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development Quality and Supply Chain.
Support packaging documentation specifications and standard operating procedures.
Evaluate packaging materials and suppliers for cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
