Job Description
Job Location: Sunnyvale CA
Job Summary:
- We are looking for IEEE 802.15.4 Test Engineers to support clients device testing programs.
- This is an onsite role in Sunnyvale CA working directly with clients lab infrastructure.
- Candidates should have experience in testing low-power wireless protocols such as Zigbee Thread or other 802.15.4-based technologies.
- Develop and execute test plans for 802.15.4-based protocols (Zigbee Thread).
- Perform functional performance and interoperability testing.
- Use tools like Wireshark Silicon Labs Network Analyzer or Telegesis for protocol debugging.
- Automate test cases using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Analyze logs identify issues and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Document test procedures results and maintain test coverage.
- 3 years of experience in 802.15.4 protocol testing.
- Strong understanding of Zigbee/Thread stack and device commissioning.
- Experience with protocol analyzers and debugging tools.
- Proficiency in Python or similar scripting for automation.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with certification processes (Zigbee Alliance Thread Group).
- Familiarity with embedded systems and low-power wireless design.
- Exposure to multi-protocol coexistence testing.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
