Title: Quality Engineer
Pay Rate Range: $31.00 $45.00/hr.
Employment Type: Contract
Estimated End Date: November 14 2025
Schedule: Full-time 1st shift - Monday to Friday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (with off-shift weekend and potential overtime as required for 24/7 test operations)

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Quality Engineer (QE) to work on-site with our client a worldwide designer manufacturer and integrator of precision control components this role you will support Engineering Validation Testing (EVT) for spacecraft involving Thermal Vacuum Dynamic Propulsion and EMI testing. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:-
Ensure adherence to applicable procedures and Customer contract requirements during the EVT campaign.

Support pre-test meetings by verifying test setup configuration test equipment calibration and flight software versions.

Support post-test meetings by ensuring all signoffs are complete requirements are met and nonconformances/test flags are dispositioned appropriately.

Document and facilitate timely disposition of nonconformances (NCs) and test flags through TIPQA/JIRA systems.

Support operational tasks including solar array integration and testing installations bus movements and other activities.

Participate in daily planning and update meetings with Customer for communication of quality issues and resource needs.

Collaborate with Test Engineering Systems Engineering and QE team to resolve issues and ensure smooth test execution.

Facilitate cross-functional Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) as needed.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering preferably in Aerospace.

Knowledge of industry quality standards (AS9100/ISO9001 preferred) QMS procedures and Customer contract requirements.

Strong RCCA facilitation experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical presentation skills.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word Project etc.).

US Citizenship required.

Experience with Engineering Validation Testing (EVT).
