Performance Objectives for Year One
- Lead a Core System Modernization Project: Take full ownership of the business analysis workstream for a critical cloud migration project. Within the first 12 months deliver a comprehensive set of technical specifications and process models that enable the development team to successfully build and deploy the V1 of the new scalable cloud platform.
- Implement a Modern Agile Framework: Overhaul the existing requirements-gathering process by introducing and embedding a standardized Agile methodology. Within 9 months successfully transition the team to using user stories story mapping and consistent sprint planning resulting in a demonstrable reduction in rework and improved alignment between business and development teams.
- Champion Data-Driven Decision Making: Initiate and lead a project to centralize and streamline business intelligence reporting. By the end of year one deliver a functional data analytics solution or dashboard that provides senior stakeholders with clear actionable insights previously unavailable from disparate systems.
- Pioneer AI/ML Integration: Conduct a comprehensive feasibility study for incorporating AI/ML into a core business process (e.g. process automation customer data analysis). Within the first year present a compelling business case to leadership that outlines the technical requirements potential ROI and a phased implementation roadmap.
- Elevate the BA Function: Act as a player-coach by formally mentoring junior business analysts on the team. Establish a set of best-practice guidelines and templates that measurably improve the quality clarity and consistency of BA deliverables across all IT projects.
