Job Title: CMM Programmer
Location: WEST CHESTER PA
Description:
We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join our team in West Chester PA. The ideal candidate will be an expert in programming with PC-DMIS and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our coordinate measuring machine (CMM) operations.
Responsibilities:
- Program and operate CMM machines using PC-DMIS software.
- Perform detailed inspections and measurements of machined parts.
- Develop implement and maintain CMM programs to ensure product quality and compliance with engineering specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CMM programs and equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and refine measurement techniques.
- Ensure all measurement data is accurately recorded and reported.
- Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Train and mentor junior CMM programmers and operators.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CMM Programmer with expertise in PC-DMIS.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of additional CMM programming software.
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
Compensation: $80000.00 - $90000.00 per year
