Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay Rate: 28.40 per hour
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is looking to recruit a fully qualified Occupational Therapist to join its clients Adult Social Care team in Wolverhampton.
What will your responsibilities be
- Carry outholistic assessmentsto identify needs and promote independence.
- Prescribe and recommendappropriate equipment and major adaptationsto support safe living.
- Collaborate withhousing teamsand other professionals to facilitateDisabled Facilities Grants (DFGs).
- Provideexpert adviceon environmental modifications and assistive technology.
- Maintain accurate and timelydocumentation and reports.
- Conductrisk assessmentsand developcare planstailored to individual needs.
- Support service users in achievingrehabilitation goalsand improving quality of life.
- Participate inmulti-disciplinary team meetingsand contribute to service development.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have
- HCPC registered
- Experience in aids and adaptations
- Proven ability to plan and prescribe major adaptations
- Familiarity with housing teams and DFGs
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills
