Job Description
We currently have multiple opportunities for Registered Nurses in a school setting!

- 1 year experience in a clinical setting.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer/ pre-employment drug screen.
- Familiarity with standard concepts practices and procedures of a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Current RN Licensure in the State of Illinois.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review weekly care notes for quality of documentation changes in patient condition requiring revisions to the Plan of Care.
- Foster trusted relationships with children families peers and referral sources in schools
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques
- Observe patient records significant conditions and reactions and notifies supervisor or physician of patients condition and reaction to drugs treatments and significant incidents
- Take and record patients vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient
- Respond to life saving situations based on nursing standards policies procedures and protocol
- Document nursing history and physical assessment for assigned patients
- Initiate a patient education plan according to the individualized needs of the patient as prescribed by the physician and/or Agency policy including patient and family instruction
- Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care
