Position Responsibilities:

Level 2

• Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.
• Develops sections of quality metrics design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual Company and regulatory requirements.
• Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.
• Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
• Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
• Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
• Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
• Works under general supervision.

Level 3

• Perform supplier performance data analysis and provide preventative risk mitigation recommendations
• Proactively plans and conducts audits and assessments of suppliers systems processes and products to prevent supplier nonconformances
• Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Recommend corrective actions to address non-conformances.
• Develop and manage a supplier - quality improvement plans
• Support on site activities/events at suppliers
• Partner closely with internal Boeing stakeholders and external Supplier personnel
• Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.
• Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work
• Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Security Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors Degree from relevant field of study
• 1 year of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis data collection preparation and interpretation
• 1 year of experience in quality management systems QMS
• 1 year of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
• Experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
• Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in the aerospace industry
• Experience reviewing contracts managing suppliers and/or experience working with inventory
• Experience in Supplier Quality processes

Travel:

This position may require up to 10% travel.
