Position: Transmission Technician
Pay Range:$5000$10000/month
Employment Type:Full-Time
Location:Southern California (Multiple Locations)
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on manual and automatic transmissions
Remove disassemble repair and reassemble transmission units
Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify issues
Inspect and test vehicle drivability shifting performance and related systems
Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate repair needs timelines and estimates
Complete warranty and non-warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards
Maintain a clean and organized workspace ensuring safety and efficiency
Qualifications:
2 years of dedicatedtransmission repair experiencepreferred
Advanced mechanical knowledge of transmission systems (including CVT automatic and dual-clutch)
Skilled in diagnosing drivetrain clutch and torque converter issues
Proficiency in electronic diagnostic equipment and transmission-specific tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Positive team-oriented attitude and a drive for excellence
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
