ChildServe is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented coordinator to provide operational support for our Inpatient Medical Social Work this role youll help ensure accurate documentation coordinate resources and support families navigating complex medical and social needs. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of helping children with special healthcare needs live a great life.
Schedule/Benefits
Full-time benefit-eligible including medical/dental/vision retirement with company match and generous PTO
Monday-Friday either 8 am-4 pm or 9 am-5 pm
What Youll Do
Maintain accurate consents referrals and patient documentation in compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
Manage patient files and coordinate scheduling for care conferences interpreter services and staff meetings.
Support families through communication engagement events and access to facility-wide updates.
Partner with leadership to improve processes and enhance the patient and family experience.
Assist with care coordination by completing documentation for Medicaid SSI WIC and other services.
Connect families with community resources and support discharge planning to ensure safe timely transitions.
What Youll Need
Education: High School Diploma required; some college preferred
Experience: Minimum 2 years of clerical/administrative experience in healthcare or social services
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to build positive relationships
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software systems quickly
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to confidentiality professionalism and cultural sensitivity
