Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will have clinical educational documentation and treatment related activities while working within the scope of responsibilities/ plan of care assigned by the Speech Language Pathologist and/or physician. This contract is located in Aurora CO and will be an FMLA coverage position lasting from Oct 2025- Jan 2026. The contract pays $42/ hour for 37.5 hours locally and $2012/ week with stipends for travelers. This will be within an elementary school with a caseload of 30 and full support of a team and SLP Requirements: Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associates degree or have a bachelors degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and/or contractCurrent certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferredComplies with all relevant professional standards of practice TB questionnaire PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age
