Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain automated test scripts usingKarate FrameworkandCucumber.
Performmanual and automated API testingusingPostman Karate and other relevant tools.
Collaborate with developers product owners and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Write and maintain test cases test plans and test data for functional regression and integration testing.
Develop reusable components and libraries inCore Javato support automation frameworks.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab or similar.
Analyze test results identify defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Experience: 5 Years to 8 Years

Mandatory Skillsets- Java rest api Automation Cucumber Jmeter minimum 5 years

Location: Pune only. (Candidates ready to relocate to Pune can apply.)

Notice Period: Maximum 60 Days or serving Notice or Immediate joiners

Required Skills

5 yearsof experience inAPI testing(manual and automation).
Strong hands-on experience withKarate FrameworkandCucumber.
Proficiency inCore Java/ Pythonfor automation scripting and framework development.
Experience withPostmanfor manual API testing and scripting.
Good understanding of RESTful APIs JSON XML and HTTP methods.
Familiarity with version control systems likeGit.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies.
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS Azure etc.).
ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
Product company or Product client experience will be a great fit.
