Radnor PA (Airgas HO) - Management - ASG1. Manage complex contract negotiations and consistently demonstrate a track record of signing new business.
2. Serve as the primary relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of national accounts. Conduct regular business reviews with the assigned client base and use it to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement. Regularly update LSH segment business unit and executive management teams of relationship status opportunities and issues with assigned portfolio.
3. Collaborate with business unit and LSH segment management to identify develop and sign national account opportunities with Life Science accounts. Ensure that the business units have a thorough understanding of U.S. customer requirements market potential for our products as well as recommended courses of action that will achieve revenue and profitability growth objectives.
4. Collaborate with the LSH segment team & Regional Management to formulate sales strategies for best securing market opportunities and maximizing our implementation potential and profitability.
5. Have a solid working knowledge of the life science markets including Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) and medical gas applications.
6. Have a solid working knowledge of Airgas Regional Companies other Airgas business units and their Operations.
7. Keep current on and follow all procedures related to this position that could affect the quality of products or services provided to these national accounts.
8. Position and sell innovative products and services that will increase margins as well position us as a market leader in the Life Science and Healthcare space.
BS/BA in Science Engineering Marketing or related field
Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience with 5 years of Airgas region experience
Demonstrate understanding of multi-site legal nuances within complex contracts
Demonstrated understanding of the specialty gas bulk micro-bulk medical gas products and related equipment and supplies
Demonstrated understanding of the life science and healthcare customer segments
Demonstrated experience and success at negotiating managing and closing agreements with complex customers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate extensive understanding and proficiency with all Airgas business systems including Google Workspace (Sheets Docs Slides Drive) Power BI Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word and
Ability to travel a minimum of 30% across the US
