ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Turn on powder coat system and prepare for the days activities.
- Powder coat metal components at a high-level of quality to meet specs.
- Maintain quality of powder finish and wash. Identify quality problems in gloss evenness of finish and color.
- Maintain powder coat equipment.
- Assure proper powder is used according to spec.
- Store powder correctly.
- Assist with loading and unloading metal components from the Power Coat line as needed.
- Grind polish sand welded parts to ensure conformance to established customer needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Self-motivated and energetic.
- Mechanically minded.
- Must have quality mindset.
- Must have visual acuity to see quality and finish defects (gloss etc.).
- Must have excellent color vision.
- Has respect for equipment and cleanliness of work area.
- Computer background helpful.
- Must be service-oriented to provide both internal and external customers with required/quality components on time
- Some Powder coat experience desirable.
