ESES is the largest CSD connected to T2S offering Central Bank money in Europe representing around 30% of the Euroclear Group assets under custody. ESES is moving from an historically domestic focus to a pan-European positioning resulting in the need to acquire new capabilities notably to serve international clients and to further grow on the admission of international securities.
Division
The New Issues area has become a more complex and risky business which requires a very good analytical approach understanding of the market and attention to detail client skills and rigour to ensure quality and timeliness of services. The business environment is becoming more and more dynamic due to recent changes which have affected the CSD such as T2S CSDR and more. This demands a stronger focus on the pro-active approach of initiatives and the participation to these changes and projects.
The Role:
The principal activities will be :
- Codification of financial instruments as national numbering agency
- Analysing admission files of domestic and foreign instruments and providing assistance to centralising parties such as issuer agents
- Providing operational assistance for issuers and their agents for the admission of securities and their issuance account with respect to ESES eligibility rules and CSDR guidelines for Securities issuances (LEI/GL)
- Account management on the issuance of admitted instruments being subject to settlement activity
- Reporting on the activities in terms of workload risks respect of procedures
- Analysing control reports
- Assisting on building a complete and correct Securities reference database
- Monitoring NUSBO certification (temporary global certificates).
- Assist in writing reviewing and applying standard operating procedures (SOP) to guarantee the constant high quality of our reference data and services
- Looking for process optimisation and taking initiatives to improve processes and procedures adapted to the business needs
- Managing and reporting risky situations outside standard processes like escalations or more complex investigations
- Building a network with New Issues teams in ESES and Euroclear Bank to streamline acceptance on foreign non T2S securities
Your Profile :
- Operational experience in New Issues services is preferred but not essential; a relevant academic background or internship may serve as a suitable alternative.
- Able to manage identify and report risky situations outside standard processes like escalations or more complex investigations
