Job Summary:
Under the guidance of the Technology Lead and direction of the Director of Teaching & Learning the Media Technology Paraprofessional is responsible for providing first level response support to building staff in the installation of computers software hardware and computer peripheral equipment.
Essential knowledge and specialized subject knowledge required to perform the essential functions of the job:
- Knowledge of computer operating systems including Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of hardware on multiple platforms Mac and PC.
- Fundamentals of computer networking and connectivity.
- Knowledge of hardware component their operations and functions and procedures for troubleshooting problems and conflicts.
- Knowledge of district standardized applications and software including office productivity software (word processing database spreadsheet and other office productivity software). And specialized software utilized and maintained by the District.
