General Information:

Job title: Specialty Clinic Nurse Supervisor

Schedule: Full-time 80 hours per pay period;

Position Summary:

The Specialty Clinic Nurse Supervisor position is responsible for the organization coordination and management of the specialty departments in the clinic as well as providing direct patient care. and registration/reception duties. Specialty departments include general surgery orthopedics interventional pain management podiatry and sleep medicine.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative tasks: staff schedules timesheet management vacation/leave approval assigned training budget/invoices meetings supply/vaccine order and management.
• Responsible for team building communication employee issues/concerns disciplinary action training and competency performance review interviewing/hiring team meetings and ensuring compliance with organization policies/procedures and professional standards.
• Patient care.
• Registration and reception coverage.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Position Requirements:

• Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree preferred.
• Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• 3 years of related work experience in a similar role preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must maintain a valid current drivers license.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Intermediate proficiency with computers is required
• Comprehensive nursing skills and direct patient care experience required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
