Job Summary
Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Supervisor to join our team at the AutoStore manufacturing plant in Rayong Thailand. The successful candidate will oversee the procurement process ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services necessary for our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management:Oversee the procurement of materials equipment and services ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Material Planning:Forecast material requirements based on production schedules and historical data to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Supplier Relations:Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers negotiating contracts and ensuring the best terms and conditions.
Inventory Control:Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to ensure timely availability of materials.
Cost Management:Implement cost-saving strategies and manage the procurement budget effectively.
Quality Assurance:Ensure that all procured materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Team Leadership:Supervise and mentor the procurement team including purchasing and planning providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals and company production and delivery targets.
Reporting:Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities cost savings and supplier performance.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
Experience:Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Skills:Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Language:Fluency in Thai and English is required.
Other:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
