Job Summary
Act asinternal subject matter experton R&D tax credits KDB and other innovation-related tax the annual R&D tax credit claim process: Prepare and manage timelines facilitate review meetings compile financial submissions oversee technical write ups and partner with external service providers on the IDA RD&I grant application and drawdown process. Compile application and drawdown documents and support business teams throughout the application. Lead the claim draw-down and audit of the system of record for maintaining R&D recordsStay informed onlegislative changesand proactively assess implications for the organisation. Evaluate additional relevant innovation based Irish tax supports grants and incentive schemes available. Identify and partner with new teams to assess qualifying activity. Educate stakeholders on the R&D supports available in progress at Quarterly Business Reviews and Steering meetings. Model thefinancial impactof tax reliefs and grant funding for business with multiple Internal Apple stakeholder groups (Operations Engineering IS&T Tax Finance Legal Public Relations Government Affairs).Liaise with external advisors and government agencies as required.
- Subject matter expertise in R&D tax credits and grant incentive programs administered by bodies such as IDA Ireland and Revenue.
- Experience in a related role e.g. financial analysis tax advisory or project management.
- Excellent planning and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Competence in project management e.g. ability to accurately estimate project delivery timelines and manage expectations of customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence at all levels.
- Highly analytical with ability to offer solutions-based recommendations.
- Ability to work both independently and with our team in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders internal and external.
- Accomplished presentation skills being able to tell the story in a structured way.
