Want to join our Team We are currently looking for dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant you will assist with providing care for those with life-limiting illnesses helping patients and their caregivers navigate end-of-life care with compassion. You will work with your teams RN Case Managers Social Workers and Chaplains as well as our Hospice Physicians to provide the physical psychosocial and spiritual aspects of care.
Office Location: Largo MD
Coverage Area: Northern Prince Georges County
Status: Full-time Monday - Friday
Main Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of an RN perform all required interventions and/or procedures to provide total patient care in the clinical setting according to the plan of care including turning transporting catheter care bathing and skin care.
- Report changes in the patients medical emotional spiritual or psychosocial status to the RN Case Manager or designee to ensure that the interdisciplinary care team remains up to date.
- Using your hands-on in person experience with each patient identify and recommend medical equipment and supplies that will help our patients maintain comfort and dignity and ensure families and caregivers are also able to provide this care.
- Provide compassionate care throughout the end-of-life transition.
- Follow nursing assistant standards of practice and meet or exceed HOC quality goals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the patient and family.
- Other specific goals and duties as communicated in your job description and performance goals.

Qualifications
Your Qualifications:
- Current Maryland CNA certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a health care setting.
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
