THE ROLE
Our site in Bedford MA is seeking a/an Production Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
The Production Engineering Co-Op Position will support sustaining and quality assurance activities for manufacturing products and support continuous improvement projects to drive process efficiency and reduce quality inquiries.
What Youll Do
Support product quality initiatives.
Support root cause investigations of manufacturing excursions and out-of-control conditions by identifying gaps in processes performing experiments determining sources of variation and implementing permanent corrective actions.
Reduce variation in product and process parameters by identifying key contributors to variation.
Make data driven decisions to support product quality efficiency and throughput.
Support qualification for new improved or changed processes.
Support capacity growth through equipment improvements and process qualifications.
Support machine breakdown by providing hands on assistance and guidance to remedy and correct issues.
What We Seek
Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
SolidWorks Experience preferred.
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year
Student pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering or similar related engineering field.
Graduation in the Spring of 2026 or 2027.
Eligibility
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standard office environment with occasional lifting of heavier objects up to 35 pounds.

Compensation: $25-$30/per hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
