Are you passionate about motorcycles safety and technology This could be the perfect role for you.
Were looking for a Technologist to join a leading Safety Product Testing team in Kettering where youll play a key role in making sure motorcycle clothing and protective gear (PPE) meet international safety standards.
What youll be doing
- Testing motorcycle jackets trousers race suits gloves and protectors to ensure they perform when it matters most
- Operating specialist test equipment and recording results accurately
- Writing clear reports to support customer product development and certification
- Working directly with global customers answering questions guiding them through testing and building strong relationships
- Getting involved in wider PPE testing (helmets gloves eyewear high-vis clothing and more) as you develop
- Representing the team at webinars customer visits trade shows and industry events
What were looking for
You dont need to be a motorcycle expert (though that helps!) the company will provide full training. What matters most is:
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- A logical methodical approach to work
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good IT skills (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
Bonus points if you have: experience in a lab knowledge of clothing materials or familiarity with databases/quality management systems.
