You will lead the financial planning and controlling processes and activities of Novartis Pharma AG (NPhAG) Novartis Innovate Therapies AG (NITAG) and AdAcAp International (AINT) legal entities as well as the financial planning and performance activities of Region Parent Companies (6 reporting units) for International and Central Cost units and Management Cash-flow. Leads US customs valuation process.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Leads planning control and deviation analysis process of Region Parent Companies to achieve the agreed targets by creating transparency.
Consolidates and reports all relevant data for International and Central Cost units and Management Cash-flow in the required quality and time for Region Parent Companies.
Provides insights on aspects of business performance and come up with concise improvement suggestions for senior management (manage Risks and Opps)
Leads forecasting process for Launch provision for NPhAG and RoW Royalty incl. performance analysis (enterprise-wide) and Divestments (divestment income profit transfer sales).
Leads planning and forecasting processes of legal entities and supports Funds Flow and Tax strategy execution to achieve EBIT/Deferred Tax outlook
Leads forecasting and monitoring of enterprise-wide Pre-Profit in inventory.
Provides leadership to Global Commercial and Medical and Corporate Functions BPA teams hosted within Finance Basel.
Leads US customs FSP valuation process: calculation and reconciliation of customs values process design and implementation
Rolls-out global projects and initiatives with an ability to explore and learn new business topics for NPhAG NITAG AINT and beyond.
Essential Criteria:
Master in Business Administration and/or Economics / Finance.
Broad experience in BPA & FRA role at Country Regional and Global Financial Leadership role.
Proven leadership skills in building developing and inspiring a team of Direct & Indirect reports.
Strong executive level communication skills with the ability to influence effectively and communicate complex ideas with insight.
Languages: Fluent in English.
Desirable Criteria:
CPA
Additional languages such as German or French.
