ERISA and Compliance Manager

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and develop ERISA compliance colleagues fostering expertise and collaboration.
• Provide senior-level guidance on regulatory compliance to management sales and product teams.
• Analyze new and proposed legislation to recommend strategies and implementation plans.
• Partner with business leaders to review and approve new plan opportunities ensuring compliance and risk alignment.
• Direct operational defect resolution including corrective actions and voluntary correction program filings.
• Oversee plan restatements and amendments to ensure alignment with sponsor intentions and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a senior advisor and thought leader on new services and product development ensuring compliance with ERISA and DOL regulations.
• Represent Retirement Plan Services on risk and compliance committees driving informed decisions and influencing best practices.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business Economics or related field required
• 12 years of ERISA and qualified plan administration experience required
• Juris Doctor (JD) preferred
• Professional certifications such as CRPS ASPPA CEBS or PRP preferred
• License to Practice Law preferred
