Job Summary
Job Description
Were seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement/Project Manager to support the development of a great engineering department in the Malton area and lead key improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will play a vital role in delivering the capital investment programme driving efficiencies and reducing plant downtime.
The Role
- Manage and deliver engineering projects to budget and time-scales.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across plant processes and machinery.
- Liaise with production operations engineering and technical teams to improve performance and efficiency.
- Ensure all compliance with Health & Safety environmental and engineering standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support the training and development of the engineering team.
About You
- Strong engineering background with a recognised qualification and the ability to be hands on and desk based.
- Experience in managing engineering projects and continuous improvement programmes.
- Knowledge of plant machinery and maintenance systems.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage teams.
- Self-motivated flexible and committed to high standards of safety and performance.

This is a Monday to Friday days-based role with Salary 51k.
