RN - Ambulatory, Pediatric Neurology

90% FTE Monday Friday with hours between 7:30am 5pm and one day off every other week. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at the Pediatric Neurology Clinic located within University Hospital in Madison WI.

Be part of an interdisciplinary team that treats patients who have a wide variety of Neurologic issues sometimes extremely complex.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

• Join our world-class UW Health Kids interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive life-changing care for kids living with neurological conditions.
  • Specialty programs with pediatricneurology include epilepsy (one of only two level 4 epilepsy centers in WI) headache neuromuscular disorders and spells clinic. Our expert team offers the latest treatments for the most complex neurological conditions!
• Contribute to a highly collaborative team and learning environment where everyones voice is valued staff wellbeing is a priority and critical thinking and questions are encouraged.
• Partner with neuro pediatric patients and their families to provide holistic and comprehensive care to kids with complex conditions.
• Participate in research and clinical trials in partnership with providers and other team members that can help advance care for pediatric neurological patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of nursing Required
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

• 6 months of RN experience Required
• Relevant RN experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
• CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
• Applicable clinical certification Preferred
