Are you ready to flex your engineering technical skills while also grow your leadership potential If youre ready we want you to join our Galley Inserts and Chillers team in Lenexa KS as a summer 2026 Electrical Engineering Intern. We specialize in designing galley insert products and aircraft galley chiller systems for commercial and military programs. If youre ready to take the jump your time is now! This role is onsite in Lenexa KS. This position is eligible for relocation.

What You Will Do:

  • You will have access and work with state-of-the-art equipment.
  • You will learn and gain practical experience in a hands-on environment.
  • You will work on projects and programs currently in progress at Collins Interior Systems which allows the intern to apply knowledge that contributes to the overall business.
  • You will have the opportunity to lead your own portion of a project design your own circuitry and present you final report.
  • You will have collaboration opportunity with our international sites.

What You Will Learn:

  • You will gain exposure to global stakeholders and peers at our facilities in Netherlands India and the Philippines.
  • You will be introduced to the regulatory and customer compliance in aerospace products.
  • You will take initiative to suggest improvements to product and processes.
  • You will help us advance future product development and innovation of the galley Inserts and chiller product lines.
