A Day in the Life

This is a compressed shift-days position which will work onsite at our plant in Tempe AZ

Work schedule:

B-shift position 5:30am - 5:30pm

Thursday Friday Saturday and every other Wednesday

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Provide technical and sustaining support in a manufacturing area.

• Perform a variety of duties in the electronic mechanical electromechanical and/or optical areas.

• Construct troubleshoot calibrate adjust test diagnose and maintain equipment components devices or systems.

• Work from schematics engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

• Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.

• Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments modifications and replacements as directed; prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Nice to Have:

• Two-year degree (certificate) in Electronic Technology or equivalent (vocational or technical college)

• Experience with semiconductor wafer processes & equipment

• Experience with laser cutting shaping/lapping or measurement processes.

• Experience with high vacuum/cryo systems

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Minitab/JMP

• Experience with Lean Sigma or Green/Black Belt Lean Sigma certification

• Experience and understanding of SPC principles including process capability analysis and control charts
