A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who excels in this role:
Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office
Assists with performing patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of a physician or nurse
Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection
Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition documenting care given
Maintains medical equipment and supplies including reordering stocking cleaning and troubleshooting
Maintains examination areas to ensure a safe and organized patient environment
Performs administrative or clerical duties including filing reception scheduling data entry and patient registration
Delivers exceptional customer service to patients and teammates

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; an associates degree is preferred. Additional requirements include:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) via AAMA or NHA obtained within 60 days of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Strong critical thinking skills decisive judgment and ability to work independently
Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
