Our Medical Records team is seeking enthusiastic Health Information Services Officers to join our team on acasual basis. Shifts to suit your lifestyle!

As a Health Information Services Officer your responsibilities will include:

• Medical record retrieval
• Provision of health information to internal and external clients
• Filing of paperwork
• Filing and culling of medical records
• Day to day functionality of the HIS department
• Participating in performance improvement activities

Essential criteria:

• Authority to work in Australia
• Proficient un use of email web-based applications and Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team member in a small team environment
• Ability to work within deadlines
• Flexibility in responding to the changing needs of the business
• Commitment to document security and patient privacy
• Experience with the WebPAS patient information system (desirable)
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting or record keeping environment (desirable)
• Previous experience in Health Information Services (desirable)
