As a key financial leader the Corporate Controller will collaborate closely with executive leadership to support strategic financial planning drive operational excellence and uphold the highest standards of financial stewardship while contributing to a culture of ownership and accountability. Location: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement providing flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration. The selected candidate will be expected to work onsite at our Middleton WI office at least once per week. Therefore applicants must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Middleton to be considered for this role. . Responsibilities Include: - Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll and fixed assets in collaboration with CFO
- Lead the monthly quarterly and annual close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP tax regulations and applicable reporting standards
- Develop implement and maintain effective internal control policies and procedures
- Provide guidance on complex accounting issues and new accounting standards
- Lead the budgeting process in collaboration with FP&A and business leaders delivering operational metrics and variance insights
- Support ERP system enhancements financial process automation and reporting tool improvements
- Manage and mentor Corporate Accounting team members promoting a culture of accountability and professional development
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related discipline
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience including 5 years in a leadership role
- CPA Designation
- Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting and internal control principles
- Strong organizational and time management skills with proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a high paced environment with limited direction
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience working with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite SAP Oracle) and financial reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications: - Masters degree
- Prior experience in public accounting
- Prior experience with payroll oversight
- Experience working with Section 125 Section 105 COBRA or health insurance products
