Main Duties
- Deliver on the objectives of the commercial management strategy.
- Administer and optimise NEC4 contracts from high-volume activities to one-off high-value projects.
- Build trusted collaborative relationships with supply chain partners.
- Lead on commercial processes: change valuation disputes and final accounts.
- Assess and certify completed works payments and performance incentives.
- Monitor forecast and report on contract performance to enable informed decision-making.
- Spot opportunities to drive efficiency and innovation across contracts and processes.
What were looking for
- Were keen to hear from candidates with:
- Strong background in contract administration and commercial management (ideally within NEC4).
- Financial management and analytical skills able to translate data into insight.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the confidence to influence and negotiate.
- Experience managing disputes and resolving complex issues.
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying Contract Management or Civil Engineering.
- Bonus points if youre chartered (RICS) or working towards it and/or have exposure to the utility or water industry.
