Role-Semi Senior Accountant/Senior Accountant
Location- Preston
Salary- Up to 40000 (DOE)

The Role
We are seeking a Semi Senior Accountant/Senior Accountant to join our growing team and take on responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work closely with senior team members whilst having the autonomy to develop client relationships and contribute to the continued success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory accounts and management accounts for a varied client base.
- Assist with corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients providing excellent customer service
- Liaise with clients on financial queries and provide practical business advice
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest professional standards and within deadlines
- Year-end accounts and financial statement preparation
What Were Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and UK taxation
- Part-qualified (AAT ACCA ACA CIMA) or fully qualified accountant
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex matters clearly
- Can-do attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in accounting software packages (Sage Xero QuickBooks advantageous)
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritise workload effectively
