Job Summary
Infosys is seeking aPeopleSoft Payroll Techno-Functional Lead Consultantwith expertise in PeopleSoft HCM modules. This role involves utilizing PeopleTools SQL and other tools to support payroll and related HR selected candidate will be responsible for addressing user issues resolving technical problems managing tickets and service requests and performing necessary configuration updates. The role also includes interacting with customer process consultants and SMEs conducting root cause analysis and driving process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant Information Technology experience
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (alternatively three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education)
- Candidates must be located within commuting distanceofGreenville TXMelbourne FL orSalt Lake City UT or be willing to relocate to one of these areasMust be willing to travel for major milestones to client locations.
- In order to comply with legal requirements this role is limited to U.S. persons as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents and certain refugees and asylees
- At least 3 years of PeopleSoft HCM techno-functional experience
- Proven experience in issue resolution root cause analysis and recommending solutions to complex problems
- Strong understanding of software engineering practices and various business processes
- Working knowledge of Core HR Time and Labor and payroll processing tasks including report generation and interface issue management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with various business processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability and desire to work closely with customers
The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone email and face to face
