Manual Test engineer

Location: Leeds 1-2x/week

Rate: 450/day Inside IR35

Duration: 6 months to begin with

Were looking for a coupleSenior Testerto join a high-profile digital programme in the public sector. Youll be embedded in anAgile delivery team working closely with Developers Product Owners and Delivery Leads to ensure quality is built in from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Championshift-left testing actively participating in3 Amigosand static requirement reviews.
Take full ownership ofdefect managementand thetesting backlog.
Collaborate withDev/Delivery/Productto manage workload and priorities.
Conductfrontend web application testing includingcross-browserandaccessibility testing aligned withNHS service design guidelines.
ExecuteAPI testingwith Postman (Collections provided).
Performdatabase testing(SQL Server).
Test and validateFHIR APIs.
SupportBDD practices contributing to the creation and maintenance of automated test cases.
Work withinAzure DevOpsfor test management pipelines and backlog tracking.
Manage and contribute toCI/CD pipelines in Azure.
Ownrelease creationandtest environment management ensuring smooth handover toSolutions AssuranceandClinical teams.

Skills & Experience

Proven track record as aSenior Tester / Agile Tester.
Strong background infrontend API and database testing.
Familiarity withFHIR APIsand healthcare standards.
Experience withBDDand test automation practices.
Hands-on experience withAzure DevOpsandCI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding ofNHS accessibility and service design guidelines.
Knowledge of.NET and TypeScriptis advantageous.
